Russian Ka-32A11BC Certificated in Brazil

The Russian multi-role coaxial Ka-32A11BC helicopter was today granted a type certificate in Brazil. The certificate will allow the Ka-32A11BC operate on the Brazilian civil aviation market and perform firefighting, search and rescue, load-carrying missions, as well as handling special construction tasks in places inaccessible to traditional transport. UTair confirms a planned order of 20 AW139 helicopters

Russian rotorcraft-building holding Russian Helicopters that makes part of United Industrial Corporation OBORONPROM and leasing company VEB-leasing concluded an agreement on strategic partnership at the aviation market of Latin America, where the interest to Russian-made commercial helicopters is forecasted to grow. Russian Helicopters Has Signed Long-Term Contracts For The Delivery Of Helicopters To The Russian Ministry Of Defence

Russian Helicopters, JSC has signed the first three long-term contracts for the delivery of helicopters to the Russian Ministry of Defence. The company confirmed that the contracts envisage deliveries over the period of 2011 to 2018. These contracts are part of the Russian State Armament Programme for 2011 – 2020, which was approved by the President of the Russian Federation. The size and terms of the contract were not disclosed. Russian Helicopters To Install Turbomeca Ardiden 3G Engines On Updated Multirole Ka-62

Paris, 27 April 2011 Russian Helicopters, JSC and French Turbomeca (Safran group), have signed contracts for the supply of at least 308 Turbomeca Ardiden 3G turbo shaft engines to be installed on the updated Ka-62 helicopter. This announcement follows the ‘protocol of intentions’ contract signed on 21 February 2010, outlining the development and delivery of the Safran engines for the Russian-built Ka-62 helicopter.
