Participation in technological platforms

ODC plays an important role in the development and rollout of technological platforms aimed at modernizing the Russian economy and focusing the country's research and industrial efforts on bringing promising innovative projects from the R&D stage to commercialization.

• As part of the Air Mobility technological platform, ODK is developing engines for short-haul and small cargo aircraft. It is also working on a family of advanced turboshaft engines, including high-speed helicopter engines. Another key area is new technologies to improve reliability and fuel-efficiency of aircraft engines and to reduce their environmental impact.
• Another technological platform ODK is working on is Small-Scale Distributed Energy Generation. The project aims to develop innovative solutions for a transition to various new types and forms of energy generation and distribution, catering to the individual needs of consumers, diverse local environments and new national requirements for energy efficiency. ODK is working with the local governments in Bashkortostan, Yaroslavl and Sverdlovsk Regions to equip the local central heating stations with new power plants which combine heat and electricity production.
